Response Area
The response area of East Beaches Fire & Rescue comprises an area of approximately 520 square kilometres (200 square miles) in east central Manitoba.

The northern boundary is Zebron Road west of Provincial Trunk Highway 59 where our response area abuts that of the Victoria Beach Fire Department. East of P.T.H. 59, the northern boundary of our response area is P.T.H. 11 up to the boundary of Fort Alexander Reserve. To the northeast, our response area is bounded by the Belair Provincial Forest which is protected by Manitoba Conservation. The eastern limit of our area is where Provincial Road 304 enters the forested Canadian Shield about 13 km east northeast of the town of Stead. Emergencies past that point on P.R. 304 are the responsibility of the Pine Falls and District Fire Department. To the southeast, our response area abuts that of the Lac du Bonnet Fire Department. The southern limit is Road 87 N, which is one mile north of P.R. 317, and where our area abuts the response area of the Beausejour-Brokenhead Fire Department. The Brokenhead Ojibway First Nation lies to our southwest, and it is served by its own fire department. West of the Brokenhead First Nation, our southern boundary is Road 89 N and abuts the response area of the East Selkirk Fire Department. Our response area is bounded on the west by the south basin of Lake Winnipeg. Under an agreement with Manitoba Conservation, East Beaches Fire & Rescue also provides protection to Grand Beach and Patricia Beach Provincial Parks.
